Warming Ginger Tea Latte Recipe
This is my go-to when I need grounding, warmth, and a little digestive and immune support. It's simple, soothing, and a perfect coffee alternative when you’re craving something cozy and comforting.
Ingredients:
1–2 inches of fresh ginger root, sliced
1 ginger tea bag (optional, but adds extra potency)
I use this one
1/2–1 cup steamed almond milk
Raw honey, to taste
Instructions:
Boil the ginger: In a small pot, bring your sliced ginger to a boil with 1–2 cups of water. Let it simmer for 10–15 minutes until the water becomes golden and fragrant.
Steep the tea bag: Once your ginger water is done simmering, remove from the heat and add the ginger tea bag. Let it steep for 3–5 minutes.
Steam your almond milk: While the tea is steeping, steam (or gently heat) your almond milk until warm and frothy.
Assemble: Pour the steeped ginger tea into your favorite mug, top with steamed almond milk, and stir in honey to your desired sweetness.
